ā€œMatt hits the ground hard, moves well for a big guy. Heā€™s a good actor with great attitude and set etiquette. Perfect addition to our directory.ā€

ā€œNothinā€™ Like The Life (Of A Hollywood Stuntman)ā€

Yup. Went with a Hooper reference yā€™all. Our world can be a tad clandestine as NDAs are signed, keeping things hush hush until a release so this page isnā€™t littered with footageā€¦ yet. HOWEVER, this year has been an amazing one and some incredible opportunities have presented themselves that will be exciting to share news on when the timing is right. Incredibly grateful to the stunt community for making a guy like me feel like thereā€™s a chance. Been a long haul, takes a minute to earn your stripes, but theyā€™ve been welcoming like family and so many successes are due to a ton of folks. Truly, humbly, whole heartedly, thank you all for all youā€™ve done. I am a stuntman first and foremost and thank every member of this isle of misfit toys for allowing me to pursue so many different interests while giving chances in the corner of the industry where itā€™s a dream to play.

Much love to you all!!

911: Lonestar

Had the honor of doubling Brian Letscher in this fight with Rob Loweā€™s double Grant Jewett. We had a blast working for Buddy Sosthand on a day that would launch everything into gear.

So grateful to Buddy and Coel Mahal for the call that started it all!

S.W.A.T.

Got to do a sweet tackle doubling John Marrott. Sweetheart of a guy and pulled off the hat better than I did. First time being the recipient of a tackle instead of the dude laying the hit. Good times and great work by Devyn Labella bringing the heat! Many thanks to Jake Swallow, Austin Brewer, and Rachael Kibbee for the great day!

THE ROOKIE: FEDS

Got the call from Jeff Wolfe to come in and double Scott Christopher and jumped at the chance. I know plenty of people wish they could hit me with a guitar but Niecy Nash-Betts and her stunt double Jeanette Branch got the job and did it with aplomb! And then James Lesure did his own tackling on this one. Dude can hit!! His stunt double Johnny Alexander took some of my shit too and hopefully you canā€™t tell when Scott stepped in for me and I for him. Good times all around and got to hang with Doug Coleman that day calling the shots talking music and magic. Fun one for sure! Thanks gents for this one!

SKECHERS

Got to fulfill a dream and be Howie Longā€™s stunt double on a Skechers Commercial. My first gig Stunt Coordinating as well. Had a blast on this one and hung out with a legend. They say donā€™t meet your heroes. I did, and heā€™s as awesome as youā€™d hope heā€™d be.

BROOKLYN 99

This was Chelsea Perettiā€™s last episode so it was truly an honor to lay a hit on Andy Samberg with Aviel Young.

Many thanks to Norman Howell for the fun day!

KEY AND PEELE

That time I gave Keegan Michael Key a concussion. Peter Atencio, the director, told me to just yell some shit from the other side of the line. So I did. And some of it stuck. Keegan and Jordan Peele both busted their asses in a downpour from firetruck hoses that make those huge drops of cold ass fake rain. When we wrapped, I ran up to Jordan and joked ā€œhey man! You guys know you couldā€™ve written this for a sunny day right?ā€ His reply? ā€œThat was Peterā€™s call!ā€ We laughed and that was that. And the rain was worth it. It came out great and Iā€™m so grateful to Jeff Sanders for the hire and to David Rowden for being so cool on set when we hung out. Didnā€™t know meeting that guy would lead to more opportunities in the years to come. Thanks so much fellas! And because itā€™s a sketch Iā€™m leaving the whole thing in. Enjoy!

TEAM KAYLIE

In a perfect world Iā€™d have these clips in chronological order from the most recent to the most distant. As it stands Iā€™m just trying to remember things I did that might have footage available. This was a fun day with a dynamite young performer who kicks HARD! She caught me right where she was told to every take. Great work Scarlett Abinante! And thank you for bringing me on board Joe Perez!

GENERAL HOSPITAL

When I was introduced to Sofia Mattsson the director said ā€œwe hired a stuntman so you can do whatever you need to do.ā€ And Sofia COMMITTED!! Every single take. Her energy was incredible and her talent is undeniable. Hoping she gets to play in many a sandbox down the line. Thank you Mark Teschner, casting extraordinaire, for the hire and Lauren Shaw for keeping us safe in Tim Davisonā€™s stead!

STATION 19

Got to double Joel McKinnon Miller on this quick gag. He was an absolute gem and the whole crew was a blast to work with. Jason George and I have the same kind of set style so many jokes were cracked in between takes and laughter in abundance. Many thanks to Steve Davison for the fun day!

PERRY MASON

Putting in the whole scene cuz I'm a fan of Chris Chalk and Jon Chaffin's work as well as Frank Trigg and Kieran Gallagher's. Many thanks to Wade Allen for the good times staying out of those guys' way!

911: LONESTAR

Always so grateful to Buddy Sosthand and Coel Mahal for bringing me back time and again on this show. Itā€™s the one that saved me and I got to ā€œsaveā€ someone on this one. Basically just shielded her from the falling glass and structural damage. Got to hang out with Don Ruffin, the guy who hired me on Scandal, and got to make the face you make when crafty starts taking away snacks or when, you know, a bobcat, enters the room.

FIRE!

Weā€™ve been on strike for a while now. Figured it was time to add another tool to the chest. With many thanks to the crew at Action Factory, lead by itā€™s founder Jayson Dumenigo I got to learn how to set up and be put on fire. This group is the real deal yā€™all. The process to get in was as intense as my college admissions and the course taught me just as much as a semester at university would. We had a four day masterclass where we learned how to properly prep for a burn, how to navigate special effects and how to keep someone safe who is being set on fire. In the end we each got to do a full blown hero burn and this was mine. With the help of Marie Fink, Ben Rezendes and Anthony Czumalowski I got to put a vision into action that wouldnā€™t have been possible prior to this incredible experience. Thank you Jayson and thank you to the whole AF team for looking out for us like you did! Much love yā€™all!!
